From Farmers Exchange to Local Cantina
Nestled in the heart of Historic Town Center Grove City, our home at 3937 Broadway has been bringing people together for generations. Built around 1930, the building originally served as the Grove City Farmers Exchange, a gathering place where local farmers, merchants, and community members conducted business and connected with one another. At a time when agriculture played a central role in daily life, the Farmers Exchange was an important hub of commerce for the growing community.
As Grove City evolved over the decades, the building evolved alongside it while remaining a recognizable part of Broadway's streetscape. Many of the building's original features still remain today, including the historic wood floors beneath your feet. Those floors have welcomed generations of Grove City residents and visitors, each leaving behind a small part of the story that continues to shape this downtown landmark.
Today, Local Cantina is proud to continue that tradition of gathering at 3937 Broadway. While the conversations now happen over tacos, margaritas, and happy hour instead of farm supplies and grain prices, the spirit of community remains the same.
